OSBM - I origianlly thought that this was the height above Sea Level. However, when it waspointed out that this would have meant that we would have been 1000m abs, I realised that this was not so.

OSBM means 'Ordnance Survay Bench Mark', and the number is the number in the OS records, ie, OSBM 2962 is the Ordnance Survey Bench Mark number 2962.
